John Westenskow graduated from Utah State University with a BFA in art and education in 1983. His primary focus for the last 36 years has been teaching art and ceramics to the students of Mount Logan Middle School, something he truly loves.
In addition to devoting most of his time to that pursuit, he has worked locally as a printer and art director for a local screen printing shop. For the last 20 years he has kept himself busy with his own business, J West Airbrush Designs. Airbrushing shirts, auto tags, and anything else that holds still long enough.
Recently his passion for creating with clay has been clambering out of the the backseat and the multitude of varied pieces done over the years in classes as examples and demonstrations have been demanding more and more company. And so, in honoring their insistence, John has begun to create even more.
